Very predictable result when first ranked BritishEssex (2-1) defeated at home 27th ranked Hungarian Basket Beats (2-10) 64-52 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 41-22 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Thomas Blower who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. Andrew Fleming chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Zalan Tamas who recorded 19 points and Toure Mohamed added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory Essex went down to second position due to points difference. Loser Basket Beats keep the twenty seventh place with ten games lost.
